It’s hard to keep fit and stay well nowadays. Everything is instant, even the food you eat!
There are instant coffee mixes that you just drink on the go or when you don’t have the luxury of time to measure spoonfuls of coffee, cream, and sugar anymore. Instant noodles where you just add hot water on, or instant rice meals that come in plastic containers that you just pop on the microwave to heat and voila! You get yourself an instant meal!

Given that these foods are instant mean they went through different levels of processing and within each level, get more and more synthesized as it nears the end-product, making it lesser and lesser healthy. Some will argue that synthesized foods are carcinogenic. And who would want to eat something that may cause you a bigger trouble?

Staying fit and healthy may entail you to be wiser in picking the right food to nourish your body with. Don’t put junk in your system, refrain from eating chips, carbonated drinks and overly processed foods. Instead, eat a ton of fruits and veggies. They’re full of disease-fighting, immunity-boosting vitamins and phyto-chemicals.

Set an example to your children. Teach them the benefits of these healthy foods as early as infancy!
